It’s been a long week for American Idol but it all comes to a screeching halt for someone tonight. Lets look at what the polls around the web are saying.
Our Idolblog.com polls have David Archuleta (27%) in the top spot while Jason Castro (25%) has rocketed into second place while Kristy Lee Cook (11%) claims the third spot.

I’m wondering if the producers of American Idol are deliberately trying to keep Kristy Lee Cook in the competition now as tonight is likely to suit her quite nicely.
Last week it was Chikezie who walked after he rediscovered boredom in his performance. Who will it be tonight? With Dolly Parton handing out the directions it could be anyone of them!

I really think Chikezie should have stuck with the kind of stuff he’s been doing for the last few weeks as it has really been working for him. Tonight, I fear his number is up as all the polls seem to indicate.
Will tonight be our first shock elimination, however? VFTW has Kristy Lee Cook as their favorite now so it could be her turn to go as we all know they can’t keep anyone around long.

Another interesting week as we look at the polls around the interw3b. There was some suggestion last night that Kristy Lee Cook may have done enough to save herself from expected elimination. We shall see.
First off, let’s look at our polls on Idolblog.com. David Cook has taken a huge leap to the top of the polls with 45% of the vote. David Archuleta and Michael Johns round out the top three.
