American Idol Finale Is Going Green

Fox Broadcasting Company has secured two renewable energy resources for the highly anticipated two-night AMERICAN IDOL finale at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE Tuesday, May 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) and Wednesday, May 21 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. These eco-friendly initiatives will reduce the carbon footprint of the AMERICAN IDOL finale, as part of FOX’s ongoing effort to reduce its impact on the world’s climate and become carbon-neutral by 2010.
In partnership with the LADWP, FOX secured renewable energy for the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE for the duration of the AMERICAN IDOL production. The power will be provided by LADWP’s “Green …

If you’ve happened on to our homepage at all today, you’ve seen that we’ve GONE GREEN in honor of Earth Day! That’s right, it’s Andrew Lloyd Webber night on the show. And while that name alone may mean little to many young fans, what about these names?
